Garden Party · Blue and lilac mophead hydrangeas on white

Coastal hydrangeas in full bloom

Think of a shingled cottage by the water with hydrangeas crowding the front path. This tray has that fresh, breezy calm. The blues pair beautifully with white dishes and navy linens.

The artwork

Round mophead blooms in cornflower blue, periwinkle and soft lilac fill the surface, set among broad, deep green leaves. The watercolor is loose and painterly on a clean white ground that keeps the whole design light.

Serving ideaSet out a pitcher of iced tea and a stack of blue-rimmed glasses on the porch rail.
